Getting Started

A step-by-step guide to setting up your organization and issuing your first verifiable credential.

Step 1: Create an Organization

Before you can issue any credentials, you need an organization profile. This profile represents the issuing authority and will be displayed on all verified certificates.

  • Navigate to the Settings tab in your Dashboard.
  • Upload a high-quality logo (PNG or SVG recommended).
  • Fill in your organization's formal name and contact details.

Step 2: Add Earners

Earners are the recipients of your credentials. You can add them one by one or import them in bulk using a CSV file.

// CSV Format Example
firstName,lastName,email,department
John,Doe,john@example.com,Engineering
Jane,Smith,jane@example.com,Design

Step 3: Design a Badge Template

A Badge Template defines the visual appearance and metadata (like skills and earning criteria) of a credential.

  • Go to Templates > Create New.
  • Upload a badge image (or let our system generate a dynamic premium layout).
  • Add specific Skills (e.g., "React", "Project Management"). These are crucial for employers searching for talent.

Step 4: Issue the Credential

Once you have an Earner and a Template, you can issue the credential. Upon issuance, the system generates a unique, immutable Verification Hash and anchors it securely. The earner will instantly receive an email notification with a link to claim and share their badge.
