What is MicroCreds?
MicroCreds is an enterprise-grade digital credential platform designed for universities, bootcamps, and corporate training programs. It allows organizations to issue digital badges and certificates that are cryptographically secure and instantly verifiable by employers.
Core Concepts
1. Organizations
The entity issuing the credential (e.g., University of Science, EMURGO Academy).
2. Earners
The students or professionals receiving the credential. Profiles are public for showcasing.
3. Badge Templates
The reusable design and metadata (skills, descriptions) for a specific achievement.
4. Issued Badges
The actual immutable credential instance given to an Earner, backed by a cryptographic hash.
5. Blockchain Anchoring
Web3Every issued credential is cryptographically hashed and permanently recorded on the Ethereum blockchain via Smart Contracts, ensuring global immutability and tamper-proof verification.
